Body found on US 2 identified, name not released
Roosevelt County officials say they've identified the male body found in a ditch along U.S. Highway 2 in northeastern Montana, but the person's name is not being released to the public.
HELENA, Mont. (AP) — Roosevelt County officials say they've identified the male body found in a ditch along U.S. Highway 2 in northeastern Montana, but the person's name is not being released to the public.
Sheriff Freedom Crawford says the person's family still must be notified.
The body was found last Friday in a ditch near the town of Bainville.
The death is still being investigated. Crawford said no other details would be released.
