Derby girls hoping to recruit

Jamestown’s only roller derby team is holding a meet and greet this weekend in hopes of finding enough serious derby girls to keep the team rolling along.
The Buffalo City Brawlers will hold an open house from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the Hillcrest School Gym, 116 15th Ave. NE.
Any women interested in roller derby can find information there on the sport including rules and some demonstrations.
Currently the Buffalo City Brawlers have five dedicated members. To keep the team afloat they hope to recruit at least another three.
