Two minors were transported to Jamestown Regional Medical Center Monday following a crash in a Jamestown city park, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The accident happened around 6:40 p.m. in Klaus Park.

Joshua Glaser, 19, 1514 Sixth Ave. SW #6, was driving a 2001 Dodge passenger car while trying to negotiate a left-hand turn in the park.

Glaser was going too fast while attempting the turn, slid off the road and struck a tree, the police report said.

Two passengers in the car ages 15 and 16, both of Jamestown, were transported to JRMC via ambulance because of possible head injuries.

Glaser reported a possible injury but was not taken to the hospital.

All three people in the car were wearing seat belts.

The Dodge was totaled.

Glaser was cited for careless driving.
