DL school hiring new superintendent

The business manager of the Devils Lake school district is being promoted to superintendent.

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (AP) — The business manager of the Devils Lake school district is being promoted to superintendent.

Scott Privratsky is taking the place of incumbent superintendent Scott Swiontek. Swiontek is leaving at the end of June, and he said he’s going to look for another school administrative job in his home state of Minnesota.

Privratsky is a native of Killdeer in southwestern North Dakota. He’s been the business manager for the Devils Lake school district for 19 years.
