Fire training set for this week in Minot
More than 1,000 firefighters from across North Dakota and bordering states will gather in Minot this week for state fire school training.
MINOT (AP) — More than 1,000 firefighters from across North Dakota and bordering states will gather in Minot this week for state fire school training.
This marks the 58th year for the state training and the second year it will be held in Minot. The event runs Thursday through Sunday.
The Minot Daily News reported that the training keeps firefighters up to date with changing infrastructure demands in the state and the chain of command during emergency situations.
