The Cardinals are hot. They’ve won five straight postseason games, including taking the District 7 championship. They carry a 16-8 record into tonight’s showdown.
The two teams meet back on Jan. 28 in Cando with North Star rolling, 81-51.
Hatton-Northwood is also one win from state.
The 10th-ranked Thunder (19-5) has a top 10 showdown waiting at the Region 2 Tournament title tilt in Grand Forks against No. 6 Grafton (22-2).
The state B is set for March 1-3 in Grand Forks.
