Elton John tickets on sale Monday

Elton John and his band will perform at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 24. The public sale of tickets starts at 10 a.m. Monday. Ticket prices are $39, $79 and $130 and will be available at Ticketmaster.com, Ralph Engelstad Arena box office or charge by phone, 800-745-3000. There is an eight-ticket limit per customer and ticket orders are subject to service fees.

John’s career spans five decades. He is one of the top-selling solo artists of all time, with 35 gold and 25 platinum albums and 29 consecutive Top 40 hits. He has sold more than 250 million records worldwide. Classics include “Your Song,” “Rocket Man,” “Bennie and the Jets,” “Philadelphia Freedom,” Crocodile Rock,” “Don’t Let the Sun Go down on Me” and many more.

John holds the record for the biggest selling single of all time, “Candle in the Wind ’97,” which has sold more than 37 million copies. Since his career began in 1969 he has played more than 3,000 concerts worldwide.

Elton John’s band includes Davey Johnstone on guitar, Bob Birch on bass, John Mahon on percussion, Nigel Olsson on drums and Kim Bullard on keyboards.
