Jamestown native Alexis Barnick failed to make it as one of the 24 semifinalists on “American Idol.”
‘Idol’ named its top 24 Thursday night and the 20-year-old Jamestown College junior was not chosen.
Barnick won a ticket to the front of the audition line for a performance at MGM Studios in December 2010, and used the ticket to audition for judges in Aspen, Colo.
She was shown briefly on the Jan. 24 episode holding her golden ticket to Hollywood.
Barnick and her family haven’t previously spoken on the results due to a signed confidentiality agreement that everyone who auditioned or was in attendance was required to sign.
