Possible injury reported in crash

A possible injury was claimed in a Sunday morning crash, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The crash happened at about 11:50 a.m. on the 1500 block of Eighth Avenue Northwest.

Kellen Bjone, 29, 1505 Eighth Ave. NW, was backing out his driveway in a 2009 General Motors.

Sharon Spry, 48, 1613 Seventh Ave. NE, was southbound on Eighth Avenue, in a 2000 Jeep.

Bjone struck Spry as he backed out.

Spry claimed an injury to her neck and back but declined medical attention.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

There was an estimated $2,000 in damage to the General Motors and $5,000 estimated damage to the Jeep.

Bjone was cited for failed to exercise caution while backing.
