The Prowl dropped their opener 9-4 to West Fargo. Austin Rene notched the hat trick. Nick Schaack also scored. Seth Lind, Nick Stockert and Collin Schroeder were credited with assists. Zach Hanson stopped 32 shots in goal.
The Bismarck Nationals followed with a 9-goal effort over the Prowl. Stockert and Lind each had a goal and an assist. Rene got two assists. Hanson was peppered with 49 shots, stopping 40.
