FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Fargo police say a brawl broke out during a private birthday party at a motel over the weekend, sending four men to jail and one to the hospital.
The Forum newspaper reports that the fight early Sunday caused more than $2,000 in damage at the Vista Inn and Suites.
Police Lt. Joel Vettel says the man who was taken to the hospital had been struck with a chair and had a cut on his head. The men taken into custody were arrested on charges ranging from disorderly conduct to aggravated assault.
Vettel says it wasn't immediately clear what sparked the brawl. He says more arrests are possible.
