A heartfelt thank you to all Jamestown Blue Jay basketball fans for the making the first ever Blue Jay Blizzard on Feb. 4 a blinding success. Thanks to the generosity of our enthusiastic Blue Jay community a donation of $1,337 was made to the North Dakota chapter of the American Heart Association and more than 1,600 food items were donated to the Salvation Army food pantry.
It was wonderful to see all the Blue Jay basketball fans blanket the Jerry Meyer Arena with a blizzard of white Blue Jay shirts and cheer on both teams to victories! A great big thank you to everyone for your support of these community programs and Blue Jay basketball.
