N.D. felony cruelty initiative created

Ron Thunshelle, a veterinarian at Pinkerton Vet Clinic in Minot, has drafted the North Dakota felony cruelty initiative. He and other supporters of the initiative, which would impose stiffer penalties for animal cruelty, are seeking signatures to support this document.

Anyone who would like to take part in the initiative or learn more about it is asked to attend a meeting at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Hardee’s meeting room in Jamestown.
