Pat Nord finished off his All-American weekend in style.

The Jamestown College junior notched two more wins at the NAIA National Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, to place third at 165 pounds.

The Enderlin, N.D., native, who starred for the Lisbon Broncos in high school, went 5-1 in his six matches over the 3-day tournament, including two pins.

Nord finished the meet strong on Saturday.

After losing a tight match in the semifinals, he still had to win a match to get into the third-place showdown. Damon Jackson of Missouri Valley College provided little resistance as Nord pinned him at 2 minutes and 31 seconds of the opening period.

Brian Lemmon of NAIA national champion Southern Oregon was up next in the third-place match. The two had met on Friday in the quarterfinals with Nord taking that match 5-1.

Nord was again up to the challenge, beating Lemmon for the second time, 7-5.

Nord accounted for 18.5 of the Jimmies’ 21.5 points in the tournament as they finished tied for 24th out of 35 teams.

Jaykob Miller and Sam Brown each went 1-2 at 157.
