Montpelier OK Club holds meeting

The Montpelier OK Club met Feb. 21 with 15 members and three guests, Ivan Gjerding and Wally and Delila Everson, present.

Jan Van Bruggen, Maxine Toltzman, Delila Everson and Harold Ratts told jokes and Millie Wilkinson told a personal story.

The secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were read and approved. Marlys Boughton got the door prize.

Myrna Sarbaum was on the sick list. She had surgery on her hand.

Bingo was played. Lorraine Jorgenson won small frame, Harriet Kartas won large frame and Sharon Hatlewick had blackout.

Cards were played. In whist, Gjerding was high, Alma Becker was low and Delila Everson had the deuce. In pinochle, Ratts was high and Wilkinson was low.

Willie Kamlitz provided lunch in honor of his birthday.
