Judge sets bond for N.D. man
A judge has set bond at $4,000 for a 20-year-old North Dakota man accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl.
BISMARCK (AP) — A judge has set bond at $4,000 for a 20-year-old North Dakota man accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl.
The Bismarck Tribune reported that Cody A. Carlson has been charged with gross sexual imposition. He made an initial appearance in court Wednesday.
In addition to setting the cash bond, South Central District Judge Sonna Anderson ordered Carlson not to contact the alleged victim or her family.
According to an affidavit, the girl told a Mandan police officer she had sex with Carlson in July and that he had threatened to hurt her if she told anyone.
