Man hit by train, killed in Bismarck

Bismarck police say a 50-year-old man believed to be from out of town was struck by a train and killed early Saturday.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Bismarck police say a 50-year-old man believed to be from out of town was struck by a train and killed early Saturday.

Officers received the call about 2:30 a.m. about a BNSF train hitting the man south of East Main Ave.

The man's name has not yet been released pending notification of relatives.

The investigation is ongoing.
