Valley City’s Ley joins Jimmies
Jim Clark has added a top local runner to the Jimmie women’s track and field program. Natalie Ley of Valley City, a 3-time all-conference and team captain for the Hi-Liners, will continue her career at Jamestown College. She won the 3200 and ran a leg in the Hi-Liners winning 3200 relay team at the 2010 region meet. Her top time in the 3200 is 12 minutes and 13 seconds.

She’s been active in Science Olympiad, Peer Facilitator, a mentor and a Sunday school teacher.
She has participated in the Jimmie running camp the past three years. Clark is thrilled to have her aboard.
“Natalie is a special recruit to me in many ways. She has a passion for distance running and when healthy, she is a very good runner,” Clark said. “Natalie is also an excellent student and especially a person of strong character.
“It will be fun to coach Natalie and I am confident she will be a wonderful addition to Jimmie cross country and track and field.”
The daughter of Cory and Sandi Ley, she plans to study elementary education at Jamestown College.
