Community input session scheduled in Jamestown
North Dakota 2020 & Beyond has announced community input sessions are scheduled in Jamestown, Wahpeton and Fargo. These public meetings are a chance for citizens to get involved and provide insight as the steering committee begins developing the 2020 & Beyond plan for North Dakota. The plan is to build on the state’s growth and expand people’s visions for economic development statewide. The discussion will focus on three keys to the future: people, places and opportunities.

“This is an important time for community and business leaders to come together and brainstorm the ideas that will create opportunities and enrich the quality of life in our communities,” said Gov. Jack Dalrymple. “Now more than ever, we can create places that are not only conducive to business development and growth, but also offer a variety of social, cultural, technological and recreational opportunities.”
Future meetings will be held in communities across the state to gather input on the opportunities and challenges to be addressed in the development plan.
