JC students elected Dem-NPL delegates
On Feb. 21 four Jamestown College students were elected to be delegates to the Dem-NPL state convention. Briana Vinzant, Gaby Urzola, Zuly Diosdado and Alannah Dosh will represent District 12 at the state convention. The students, as delegates, will vote on who the North Dakota Dem-NPL’s endorsed candidates will be and help set policy for the party.

“I am very excited for this opportunity,” said Briana Vinzant, vice president of the Jamestown College Young Dems. “It will be a great hands-on experience, and a chance to meet the candidates. Also, a chance to visit with not only candidates, but other college students from across the state, about issues important to college students and young adults.”
“The Young Dems will be great delegates for the district,” said Jessica Haak, vice chairwoman of District 12.
The District 12 Dem-NPL has a full delegation plus alternates attending the event. The Dem-NPL state convention is March 16-17 in Grand Forks at the Alerus Center.
