Possible injuries in Monday car crash

One person suffered possible injuries following a Monday car crash, according to the Jamestown Police Department. The accident happened at 11:45 p.m. on the 400 block of Eighth Street Southeast.

One person suffered possible injuries following a Monday car crash, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The accident happened at 11:45 p.m. on the 400 block of Eighth Street Southeast.

Christopher Jasmann, 18, 1416 10th Ave. NE #5, was driving a 1995 Chevrolet eastbound on the 400 block of Eighth Street.

Jasmann said something ran across the road and he slowed down to miss it. He then struck a driverless 2003 Chevrolet parked on the right side of the road facing east.

Jasmaann cited possible injuries but did not request an ambulance. He was wearing a seat belt.

There was an estimated $5,000 in damage to the vehicle Jasmann was driving and $1,500 to the parked vehicle.

He was cited for drove in violation of instructional permit, and care required.
