All-South Central team announced

Napoleon’s Kendra Weigel, Sheridon Dewald and Mariah Jangula were all named to the All-South Central Conference Girls Basketball team, after leading the Imperials to the conference championship in 2011-12 with an overall record of 18-7.

The Region 3 champion Linton-Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions (18-6) also placed three on the all-conference team in the likes of Kayln Schneider, Robin Weber and McKenna Flyberg. The Lions’ Whitney Gerving was given honorable mention nods.

Linton-HMB: Kayln Schneider, Robin Weber, McKenna Flyberg (Whitney Gerving, HM). Napoleon: Kendra Weigel, Sheridon Dewald, Mariah Jangula. Central Prairie: (Noelle Moser, HM; Jordan Spitzer, HM). South Border: Kaylee Ketterling, Kalli Scherbenske (Karly Wald, HM). Strasburg-Zeeland: (Jennifer Wikenheiser, HM). Ellendale: Madilyn Bommersbach, Shayna Mertz (Brianna Vance, HM; Dacey Fuller, HM). Kidder County: Sam Rangeloff, Morgan Rohrich.
