JMS names musicians of month

The following students have been chosen for fall musicians of the month at James-town Middle School:

Alex Bennett, son of Scott and Amy Bennett, is a member of the Jamestown Middle School Orchestra and Choir and also takes piano lessons. He is active in church activities and plays hockey.

Bailee Graves, daughter of Lori and Curt Graves, is a member of the James-town Middle School Band, Choir and Jazz Band. She is also a member of the St. James Basilica Youth Choir and takes piano lessons. Graves is also active in basketball, volleyball, tennis and dance.

Mikayla Patel, daughter of Ashish and Betsy Patel, is a member of the James-town Middle School Choir and Band where she is the section leader for the clarinet section. Patel is also a member of her church worship team and has taken piano and clarinet lessons. Patel is also active in volleyball, track, student council, speech, drama, Math Counts, Science Olympiad and karate.

Elise Opp, daughter of Ben and Liz Hunt, has been chosen as a Jamestown Middle School Musician of the Month. Opp is a member of the James-town Middle School Choir, Jazz Band and Band where she is a section leader in the saxophone section. She also takes piano and voice lessons and is in-volved in church, volleyball, track, softball and speech.
