NDSU, UND drop postseason games

NDSU lost to Wyoming 78-75 in the opening round of the CBI tournament on Wednesday night.

It was tight from start to finish, but the Bison fell just short and had their season end at 17-14.

TrayVonn Wright led the Bison with 15 points. Marshall Bjorklund added 14.

UND also lost its postseason opener on Wednesday night, falling to Drake 70-64 in opening round play of the CTI tournament.

North Dakota led 26-24 at halftime, but was outscored 46-38 in the second half.

UND was led by Brandon Brekke’s 18 points as they finished with a record of 17-15.
