Dual-sport athlete Malcolm Jenkins of East Orange, N.J., has signed with Jamestown College and will compete in track and football.
Jenkins will compete in the sprints in track.
“Malcolm has great range from the 55 meter dash all the way up to the 400,” JC men’s track and field coach Ed Crawford said. “In a sound program like we have here, Malcolm will continue to improve and become a national qualifier down the road for Jamestown College in the sprints and relays.”
Jenkins, a cornerback in football, earned first team all-conference and all-South Jersey honors for Maple Shade High School.
“Malcolm displays great athleticism. He has a nice burst that suits him well,” Jimmie football coach Shawn Frank said. “He has a high ceiling in terms of ability to mature and excel. He is a great fit for our program and we look forward to developing him into a multi-sport athlete.”
An honor roll student, he is the son of Michael Jenkins and Felisha Parker. He plans to major in radiologic technology at Jamestown College.
