The Jamestown College men’s wrestling team has signed Gladston, Ore. Native Steve Holliman to join the Jimmies next year as a transfer from Clackamas Community College.
Holliman, a heavyweight, was a team captain and all-League Scholar Athlete at Gladstone High School.
“We are happy to have signed a heavyweight for next year,” said JC coach C.J. Campbell. “The size and strength that Steve brings to this weight class will make him a formidable opponent. Steve has been coaching at a local high school since graduating in 2009. I am sure this has give him time to mature physically and coaching others really helps you to break down and analyze the techniques of the sport. I am sure that Steve will come in wiser, stronger and hungrier than he was in high school.”
Holliman is the son of Rich and Bee Holliman.
