North Dakota leaders are going on a trade mission to China.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota leaders are going on a trade mission to China.

Lt. Gov. Drew Wrigley, Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring and representatives of the North Dakota Trade Office will lead the delegation overseas March 19-28. The group will include representatives from the pea, lentil, soybean, flax and flour industries, commercial companies and investment groups.

Gov. Jack Dalrymple says exports are a vital part of North Dakota's economy. Trade Office Executive Director Dean Gorder says China isn't the easiest market to get into but the opportunities are plentiful.
