Jamestown College is launching a radio station.

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) — Jamestown College is launching a radio station.

Students were celebrating the Friday launch of KJKR with a Friday night party featuring live music and the station's first broadcast.

The Jamestown Sun reports that the 4,000-watt station has a college rock format and the potential to reach an audience of 25,000 listeners.
