The search for Jamestown High School’s next football coach appears to be over.
Tim Fletcher, a 1992 JHS grad, who played football at NDSU and Jamestown College, is the search committee’s choice for the job, pending approval from the school board, which is expected to come at Monday night’s meeting.
Fletcher has been a teacher and assistant football coach here for the past 11 years. He teaches science at the high school.
He would replace Bill Cahill, who resigned in October after 14 seasons as the team’s head coach, compiling a record of 52-84.
