FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota jury has found a Minnesota man guilty of two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of reckless endangerment in a shooting at a Fargo move theater last summer.
The Forum reports (http://bit.ly/FRw3JZ) that jurors deliberated for several hours Friday and Monday before returning with their verdict in the case of 45-year-old Felipe Estrada.
Estrada was charged in the Fargo shooting last summer of Juan Garza.
Estrada, of Dilworth, Minn., had been facing an attempted murder charge. But jurors found him guilty of a lesser offense on that count, which was one of the two convictions for aggravated assault.
Estrada testified in his own defense on Thursday, saying that Garza threatened him multiple times after Estrada began dating Garza's ex-wife.
