Montpelier OK Club meets

The Montpelier OK Club met March 6. The club met with 15 members present. The pledge was said and the meeting opened with stories and jokes from Jan Van Bruggen, Lorraine Jorgenson and Maxine Toltzman. Harriet Kartes brought a necklace made of dried potato flowers.

Marlys Boughton and Kartes had family members who have been ill but are recuperating.

Secretary and treasurer’s reports were read and approved. The next meeting is near St. Patrick’s Day so the members should wear something green or pay a fine.

The drawing for the door prize went to Erna Buchholz.

Bingo was played with the following winners: small frame, Gerold Van Bruggen, and large frame and blackout, Kartes.

Cards were played with the following winners: whist, high, Lorraine Jorgenson and low, Willie Kamlitz; pinochle, high, Van Bruggen, and low, Kartes.

Lunch was furnished by Myrna Sarbaum.
