Tribute to veterans to be constructed in Dickinson
DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — Memorial Park in Dickinson will soon be home to a Stark County Veteran's Memorial and construction may begin this summer.
DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — Memorial Park in Dickinson will soon be home to a Stark County Veteran's Memorial and construction may begin this summer.
The Dickinson Press reports (http://bit.ly/GWCRDB ) that Dave Logosz is spearheading the project that will be located at the site of an old swimming pool that closed in 2008.
Logosz is a Vietnam Veteran and Dickinson resident. He says the memorial will consist of a bronze statue and tablets with the names of veterans from Stark County.
