WILLISTON, N.D. — The former Elks Lodge here is being renovated into a boutique hotel that will cater to traveling executives.

Owner Joe Lundeen said the 100-year-old building will feature eight luxury hotel rooms with full kitchens designed with business travelers in mind.

The hotel, located downtown, will be called The Williston.

It also will have a bar and a steak and seafood restaurant with a Cajun flair, said his daughter, Brianna Krebsbach.

“We’re really excited about bringing something new into Williston,” Krebsbach said.

The new restaurant will be in addition to the Hawaii Fire Grill, which is using the building during the remodeling. Hawaii Fire Grill will move downstairs after the renovation.

The Williston is expected to be open this summer.
