Youth bowlers shine

Team of 4, consisting of Jamestown youth bowlers, back row, from left, Patrick Kinzler and Brandon Thrift, and front row, from left, Joey Gebhardt and Jorgan Mohr, placed first in the Class A Division of the West Region tournament held in Mandan Jan. 15-29 with a score of 2713 pins. In the Class D Division, Rockin Thunder, back row, from left, Erik Busche, Kyle Mosolf, front row, from left, Bryan Mosolf and Noah Burright, placed third with a score of 2545. In doubles competition, Mohr and Gebhardt placed first in Class A with a score of 1427. Kinzler and Thrift were fifth (1401). Gebhardt took first-place honors in Class AA with a score of 797. Kinzler won Class A with a total of 818. Thrift was third in Class B (705), while Bryan Mosolf was sixth in the Class C (664). In Class D, Busche was third (682) and Burright fourth (671).
