FARGO (AP) — Denver Tolliver is the new director of North Dakota State University’s Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute.
Tolliver has been with the independent think tank for more than 30 years, and has served as associate director since 2003.
School officials said Tolliver has been awarded nearly $25 million in grant funds during his time at NDSU. In addition to research, Tolliver has taught eight different graduate courses in transportation and logistics.
Tolliver takes over for Canan Bilen-Green, who has been interim director since October. She replaced Gene Griffin, who was fired after an internal audit showed he padded expenses.
