JC men’s basketball hosting three camps

Three camps put on the by the Jamestown College men’s basketball team are planned. The Jamestown College Boys’ Camp for students in grades 5-10 is set for May 29-June 1 from 9-noon each day. Check in is 8:30-9 a.m. May 29. Camp will be held at Larson Center/YMCA and will focus on fundamental skills.

The Jamestown College Boys’ Camp for students in grades 5-10 is set for May 29-June 1 from 9-noon each day. Check in is 8:30-9 a.m. May 29.

Camp will be held at Larson Center/YMCA and will focus on fundamental skills.

All campers receive a T-shirt. Games, contests and daily prizes are planned.

The 2012 Summer League runs June 6, 13, 20, 27 and July 11 at Jamestown High School.

Each team has three mini-games per night. Games are officiated and scorekeepers are provided.

Divisions are large school, small school and JV with three, 10-minute games.

Cost is $50 which includes T-shirt. Camp is limited to 16 teams. Deadline to register is May 15.

The JC Men’s Team Camp is set for June 29 at Jamestown High School, the YMCA and Hansen Center.

Each team is guaranteed three games. Four divisions are planned with a pool play format. Officials and scorekeepers will be provided.

T-shirts will be awarded to pool play champions.

Deadline to register is June 18. Camp is open to the first 32 teams.
