Regional DUI Task Force releases results

The Southeast Jamestown Regional DUI Task Force participated in the Regional DUI Task Force program in North Dakota. It made seven driving under the influence arrests, 65 other significant arrests and made a total of 125 enforcement contacts during the recent unified saturation patrol effort.

The Southeast Jamestown Regional DUI Task Force participated in the Regional DUI Task Force program in North Dakota. It made seven driving under the influence arrests, 65 other significant arrests and made a total of 125 enforcement contacts during the recent unified saturation patrol effort.

In the Southeast Jamestown Region, 14 law enforcement agencies participated in the second quarter of this program. During the enforcement period, conducted March 9-17, there were no crashes and no impaired driving fatalities in the region.

Eighty-three percent of all law enforcement agencies participate in the DUI Task Force across North Dakota. This program is intended to save lives by reducing alcohol-related fatalities and car crashes.
