Fargo twinhome damaged by fire; 5 escape

Five people escaped a twinhome fire in Fargo, though one man injured his ankle when he leaped from a second-story window.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Five people escaped a twinhome fire in Fargo, though one man injured his ankle when he leaped from a second-story window.

Firefighters also rescued a cat from the fire that broke out about 4:15 a.m. Thursday.

The Fire Department says damage to one of the two units is minor but the other unit is severely damaged. The cause of the blaze hasn't been determined.
