Rotarians have JHS students shadow
Twelve students from Jamestown High School job shadowed in the following Rotarians’ businesses: Stoudt Ford, KSJB Radio, Jamestown Regional Medical Center, Ottmar & Ottmar Law Office and Orn and McDaniel Family Dentistry. Each of the students shared some of his or her experience and attended the March 27 Rotary meeting. While at the meeting they learned about Rotary and what the service club does and provides to the community. They were able to see the induction of two new Rotary members, Casey Bradley, Stutsman County chief operating officer and auditor, and David Rogers, chief financial officer at First Community Credit Union.

Jana Lynch shared about her experience at Camp RLYA last summer and encouraged her fellow students to consider attending this coming summer.
Harvey Huber showed a video clip on the Rotary International 2011 Convention held in New Orleans. He said it should be the goal of all Rotarians to attend such a convention in their lifetimes.
President Doug Frohlich reminded members of the upcoming Wine Tasting Brew Ha Ha on April 19 at the Gladstone Inn & Suites.
Gary Riffe gave the invocation; Frohlich, with the Gina Dahl’s help, led the group in music and Nick Schmidt collected “Happy Dollars.” Andrew Workman from Unison Bank was a guest at the meeting.
Kevin Cramer will be the guest program on April 7. Committees will share their reports at today’s meeting, Casey Stoudt will give the invocation, Reuben Liechty is song leader and Mark Sherfy is the sergeant at arms.
