Man pleads guilty in North Dakota stabbing case

A Wahpeton man accused of trying to kill his neighbor last October has pleaded guilty to attempted murder.

WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) — A Wahpeton man accused of trying to kill his neighbor last October has pleaded guilty to attempted murder.

Twenty-four-year-old Patrick Wolfgram was accused of repeatedly stabbing the 26-year-old woman as she smoked outside their apartment building. He initially pleaded not guilty.

Wolfgram is being held without bond. He faces up to 20 years in prison. A judge has ordered a presentence investigation.
