FARGO, N.D. (AP) — An American Eagle flight from Fargo to Chicago turned back after the airplane struck a hawk shortly after takeoff.
The Fargo Airport Authority says the pilot flew the plane back to Hector International Airport on Thursday afternoon so ground crews could check for damage. None was found, and after a delay of about three hours the plane took off again and later landed safely in Chicago.
