Letter to the editor: It’s good news that VC businesses go smoke free

I am writing this letter to the editor because I think it is really great that the Eagles and the Labor Club in Valley City have made their businesses totally smoke free. The Jamestown group of single dancers and I absolutely love going to the Eagles to dance and now that it is smoke free we won’t have that yuck in our throats afterward due to the smoke. And we won’t have to worry about the people on the dance floor with cigarettes in their hands starting people’s hair or clothes on fire. Plus, we won’t have that bad smell on our clothes that is hard to get out and lasts forever. I’m hoping that more people will now come to the Eagles Club to take advantage of the absolutely beautiful dance floor that they have.

Thanks greatly to both businesses for going smoke free. For me not being a smoker ever, this is fantastic!
