Hebron checking water system after leak reports

HEBRON, N.D. (AP) — The city of Hebron is hiring a company to check its water system and find the source of some potentially large leaks.
City Supervisor Jim Raaf says the monthly water losses could be more than 100,000 gallons. That's close to 10 percent of the city's total water demand. Raaf says it's enough to fill two water towers.
The system check will cost about $3,000. Raaf tells The Dickinson Press it will pay for itself if the study can be used to help make repairs and stop the water leakage.
