PLENTYWOOD, Mont. (AP) — Sheridan County officials said a 16-year-old boy was missing and his older sister drowned in a weekend boating accident in northeastern Montana.
Coroner Dave Fulkerson said dive teams continued searching Monday for Ty Anderson of the Medicine Lake-Froid area. The body of his 18-year-old sister, Carlie, was recovered Sunday afternoon from Medicine Lake.
Officials said they were among five teens on a paddle boat in Medicine Lake on Easter Sunday. It was not clear what happened, but all five ended up in the 38 degree water.
Fulkerson said three were able to reach shore, but the Anderson siblings did not.
