Catherine Franklin of Valley City, N.D., will be honored on her 90th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at AmericInn, Valley City. No gifts requested.

Franklin has three children, Karen Sauer and Louise Max, both Jamestown, and Lyle Jr. (Julie), Sanborn, N.D.; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
