Hermanson to present recital

Jamestown College student Lara Hermanson of Jamestown will present her junior voice recital at 7 p.m. Thursday in Voorhees Chapel. The recital is free and open to the public.

Jamestown College student Lara Hermanson of Jamestown will present her junior voice recital at 7 p.m. Thursday in Voorhees Chapel. The recital is free and open to the public.

Hermanson will perform works by Conti, Mozart, Bizet, Debussy, Hahn, Parry, Argento, Sondheim, Corigliano, Loesser, and Rogers and Hart. She will also sing a duet with Bob Heinzen, “The Song that Goes Like This,” from “Spamalot.”

Hermanson is a voice student of Dr. Richard Walentine. Jaime Namminga will accompany on piano.

Hermanson is pursuing a major in music performance and a minor in psychology at Jamestown College and is active in the JAM! Audio vocal jazz group. She is the daughter of Keith Hermanson and Lynn Lambrecht.
