Possible injury in one-vehicle crash

There was one possible injury in a Tuesday morning car crash, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
The crash happened at 10 a.m. on Third Street Southeast by the railroad tracks close to the intersection of 12th Avenue Southeast.
Ashley Margos, 22, 411 15th Ave. NE, #26, was driving a 2003 Oldsmobile westbound on Third Street approaching the railroad track.
John Ruff, 40, 1414 Ninth Ave. NE, was driving a 2004 General Motors Company vehicle westbound on Third Street approaching the railroad tracks.
Ruff slowed down to stop for the crossing arms on an oncoming train. Margos tried to slow down, but said her brakes pushed back and she wasn’t able to stop.
Margos struck Ruff.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, but Margos complained of a possible neck injury and declined treatment.
There was an estimated $3,000 in damage to the Oldsmobile and $2,000 in damage to the GMC.
Margos was cited for drove without a valid operator’s license.
