Fargo Blues Fest lineup announced

The lineup for the 17th Annual Fargo Blues Festival on July 27-28 was announced earlier this week.

Friday’s headliners are Shemekia Copeland, Ronnie Barker Brooks and Smokin’ Joe Kubeck & Bnois King.

Also playing Friday are Harper, Everett Smithson Band and Blue Tonic.

Saturday’s headliners include James Cotton, Bernard Allison and Eddie Shaw & The Wolfgang.

Other Saturday acts include Lightnin’ Malcolm, Bluedog Blues Band and The Levee.

The festival will be at Newman Outdoor Field with a campground two blocks away and three hotels within walking distance.

There will be 40 food, beer and novelty vendors.
