Northern Cass edges L-L-M

Colton Hill outdueled Zach Stemen as both pitchers threw well in a 3-1 Northern Cass win over LaMoure-Litchville-Marion on Tuesday.

Hill allowed just three hits with nine strikeouts and the Jaguars scored two in the fifth and one in the sixth.

Stemen surrendered just four hits and fanned eight Northern Cass batters.

Jared Meiklejohn, Tanner Carlson and Devin Piehl had hits for LaMoure-Litchville-Marion as they dropped to 1-2.

Taylor Kyllo had a triple and 2 RBIs to pace the Jaguars.
