ND company seeks exec bonuses in bankruptcy

A company that runs a Fargo drug testing center wants more than $1 million in executive bonuses as part of a bankruptcy reorganization plan.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A company that runs a Fargo drug testing center wants more than $1 million in executive bonuses as part of a bankruptcy reorganization plan.

Cetero Research is based in North Carolina. It does early testing of new drugs. It has almost 400 employees in Fargo and a facility with more than 500 beds.

The company wants a bankruptcy judge to approve an employee incentive plan that would pay more than $1 million in bonuses to more than a dozen executives.

Cetero says the top officials have taken on extra work during the company's bankruptcy reorganization.

The Forum reports a company spokeswoman wouldn't comment on the proposed bonuses.
